Tajani: Major goals are fighting terrorism and reducing illegal migration and youth unemployment

EP President Antonio Tajani has discussed the future of the European Union with young people in the St. Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia.

He pointed out three major goals for Europe: reducing illegal migration, combating terrorism, and reducing youth unemployment. According to Mr. Tajani, efforts are also needed in order to restore the industry of Europe and to overcome climate changes.

We cannot be competitive at a world level unless we work for digitization, Antonio Tajani pointed out. He added that education was the key, and young people are the future. The most important goal before the EP elections was reducing the gap between citizens and European institutions, Antonio Tajani also said.
