Christmas festival organized in Canadian-Bulgarian Cultural Center in Montreal

Christmas celebration with folklore motives is organized on December 21st by the Canadian-Bulgarian Cultural Center “Zornitsa,” founded 16 years ago in Montreal, the second largest city in Canada. According to unofficial data, nearly 8,000 ethnic Bulgarians live in this city. Since 2002, Bulgarian St. Cyril and Methodius School has been opened at the center, where in addition to Bulgarian language, literature, history and geography children have the opportunity to learn Bulgarian folk dances.
