The Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection has rejected the request of Ukrainian company Ukrainmash for stopping the public procurement procedure for maintenance of the MiG-29 fighter jets of the Bulgarian Air Force.

This decision allows the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense to continue its negotiations with the only company of its choice - Russia’s RSK MiG, which holds the license for maintenance of the jets.

However, the Ukrainian company could appeal the decision at the Supreme Administrative Court within 3 days of notification.
