Bulgaria and Turkey will continue active bilateral co-operation because in addition to being Bulgaria’s neighbor, the Turkish state is also an important partner in the sphere of migration, the fight against terrorism, agriculture and energy.

This was said at a meeting of Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Turkish Ambassador to Sofia Hasan Ulusoy. The two discussed the preparation of the upcoming EU-Turkey Summit under Bulgarian initiative and expressed the view that dialogue between Brussels and Ankara should be normalized.

Borissov and Ulusoy also discussed cooperation between the countries in the field of culture.
