At the Youth Forum of the UN Economic and Social Council, taking place in New York, Bulgaria’s Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev held working meetings with his counterparts from Serbia and Macedonia.

Serbia’s Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic laid emphasis on the importance of Bulgaria’s 2010 -2020 national strategy for youth development, adding he would welcome an exchange of good practices in this sphere.

Agreement was reached at Minister Kralev’s meeting with Darko Kaevski, Director of Macedonia’s Association of Youth and Sports, on signing an agreement in the “Youth” and “Sports” sector, as a way to build on the goodneighbour agreement between the two countries.

Udovicic and Kaevski were invited to take part in the European Youth Conference, to take place in Sofia in April, within the frameworks of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
