The first 20 electric buses will be made operational in Sofia by the end of the year, a Sofia Municipality official announced at a conference entitled “Electric mobility and the future of urban mobility”.
The electric vehicles will replace the diesel buses along some of the bus routes in the capital city. At this time Sofia Municipality plans to purchase 30 electric buses.
