National Assembly President Karayancheva meets Patriarchs Neophyte and Kirill

Bulgarian volunteers, Russian, Finnish, Romanian and other soldiers who gave their lives for Bulgaria’s freedom have been resting on Shipka Peak in the past 140 years, the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva said at the meeting with the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte and the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill. That is why each year on March 3 the Bulgarians bow to the monument on Shipka Peak, which was built as a sign of gratitude, Tsveta Karayancheva pointed out. Shipka is part of the Bulgarian and the Russian history, Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill said in return.
