Trade between Bulgaria and Turkey is balanced and amounted to nearly EUR 4 billion in 2017, Bulgaria’s Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov announced at a bilateral business forum in Istanbul. Last year Bulgaria’s exports to Turkey saw a 10% increase as compared to 2016 and exceeded EUR 2 billion. Turkey’s export to Bulgaria increased with 17.3% to EUR 1.9 billion.
