Rosatom ready to help Bulgaria fulfill Belene NPP project

The Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom is ready to help Bulgaria fulfill the project for the construction of Belene nuclear power plant, the First Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the corporation Kiril Komarov announced at a press conference. Today there are no conflicts between us and our relations are wonderful, Komarov went on to say. In March 2012 Bulgaria abandoned its plans to build two nuclear reactors with a total capacity of 2 megawatts, TASS agency reminds. On May 12 this year Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov said that Bulgaria intended to revive the project.
