The Bulgarian women’s national volleyball team got off to an excellent start in the final four of the Golden League. At the semi-finals match of the tournament in Budapest, the Bulgarian side won a sweeping victory versus Finland 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14) in just 69 minutes of play.
This victory means the Bulgarian players have guaranteed their participation in the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup tournament in Peru next week. There, the Bulgarian team will be vying for a place in the elite group of the League of Nations tournament next year.
