Bulgarian Foreign Minister Zaharieva pays visit to Berlin

Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva is in Berlin today for talks with German Minister of Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas.

The Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, which has already ended, will be reviewed and assessed. A discussion on key issues part of the European agenda will also be held, it was reported.

It is expected that the focus will be put on EU policy unity towards the United States, Iran and Russia. The topic of relations with Ankara will also be discussed.
