Oil spill in Aheloy River

An unidentified petroleum product spill in Aheloy River has brought to the scene environmental inspectors from Bougras on the Black Sea.

Around 200 litres of fluid has spread within a radius of 300 sq. metres on the surface of the river which flows into the Black Sea. This necessitates urgent measures to secure the area. The quantities of petroleum product collected will be deposited into refinery decanters. Environmentalists and holidaymakers are expressing concern over the spill which can inflict damage on the environment and its inhabitants.
