Kozloduy NPP with profit of more than 50 million euros for 6 months

Kozloduy NPP EAD has finished the first half of 2018 with significantly improved financial performance in comparison to 2017. This is seen in the nuclear plant’s report for the first six months of 2018, published by the Ministry of Finance.

For the first half of 2018, operating revenues from the operation of the nuclear power plant amounted to 270 million euros, up 60 million euros (28%) more than in the previous year. Expenses for carrying out operating activities of the company in 2018 amount to a total of 215 million euros. There was an increase of 12.5% marked ​​compared to the same period in 2017.

The company has ended the first half of 2018 with a net profit after taxes of 51 million euros, in comparison to a reported profit of 17.5 million euros in 2017.
