A unique vault with frescoes dating back to the Late Antiquity was found on August 2 during the repair works on Moscovska Street in Sofia, Mayor Yordanka Fandakova announced. The vault was discovered near the Saint Sofia church. It was probably built after the 4th century. The Sofia Municipality has suspended the repair works and has asked archaeologists to explore the site.
