Bulgaria maintains high level of security at EU external border

Bulgaria’s Minister of Interior Mladen Marinov met in Luxembourg with European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos within the frameworks of the sitting of the Justice and Home Affairs Council. Bulgaria maintains a high level of security at the EU external border, Minister Marinov assured. Currently, the migration situation in Bulgaria is stable and predictable, Minister Marinov pointed out. Commissioner Avramopoulos assessed highly the contribution of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and supported the priorities of the Bulgarian EU Presidency and Bulgaria’s will to continue working for the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
