President Radev: Bulgaria and Slovenia share a joint responsibility for stability in our region

“Bulgaria and Slovenia lie on either side of the Western Balkans and it is important that they set a personal example and contribute to stability and security in the region,” said President Rumen Radev at a meeting in Sofia with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Miro Cerar.

The two discussed the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans, the debate on the future of Europe, the EU’s migration policy. President Radev and Deputy Prime Minister Cerar agreed that the excellent political relations between the two countries are a basis for promoting relations in all other spheres – investments, economy, culture, tourism. In the words of Miro Cerar, Bulgaria is one of few countries of Europe with such a rich history, culture and archaeological finds.
