Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva to visit USA

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva is to visit to Washington DC at the invitation of US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo.

On 5 November the two will discuss question of bilateral, regional and global interest. Deputy Prime Minister Zaharieva will also be meeting with Judy Van Rest, Executive Vice President for the International Republican Institute, with National Security Advisor John Bolton, and with Robert Benjamin, Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe programmes of the National Democratic Institute. In Washington, Minister Zaharieva will also meet with members of the Bulgarian community.
