Bulgaria’s Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov requested from the National Assembly to remove the immunity from prosecution of 6 MPs- Elena Yoncheva and Georgi Mihaylov (BSP), Boris Karchev (GERB) and Veselin Mareshki, Plamen Hristov and Krustina Taskova (Volya), in order to initiate legal proceedings against them. Elena Yoncheva will be investigated for money laundering. Georgi Mihailov will be investigated for deliberate mismanagement and conclusion of disadvantageous contracts.
