There is no better place than the European Union. And Greece, in a crisis, who stood beside it - the European Union. “If there was a problem, those who would help us the most are NATO and the EU," Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said in his address to the participants in the 3rd Summit in Thessaloniki dedicated to the European perspective, connectivity, industrial development and cooperation with the Western Balkans, the government press service announced.

"Connectivity is also geostrategic in every sphere. And the sooner we see Macedonia in the EU and NATO, the better it is for Bulgaria and Greece," Borissov also said. The 3rd Thessaloniki Summit, hosted by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, is also attended by Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, Romania's Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall and ministers of the region.
