Google's vice president becomes Bulgarian honorary consul in San Francisco

The government has adopted a decision to appoint Bogomil Balkansky, a citizen of Bulgaria and Google's vice president as Honorary Consul in San Francisco with a consular district covering the Silicon Valley in California. The candidacy of Balkansky was proposed by the Bulgarian community in the Silicon Valley. Balkansky has been living in the USA since 1991. He is also an investor in Bulgarian start-up software companies, as well as capital funds and technology companies in the Silicon Valley and Bulgaria.
