12% of all Bulgarian companies have problems with delayed payments

12% of the Bulgarian companies complained with delayed payments by contractors or the state in 2017, Eurostat statistics shows. Thus, Bulgaria ranked in the middle of the Eurostat ranking under this indicator. 20% of the companies in Italy had problems with delayed payments. Only 4% of the Romanian companies had such problems in 2017, Eurostat further announces. 25% of the people who started a business in Bulgaria do not experience difficulties. The Bulgarian entrepreneurs mainly complain with lack of enough business and clients (21%) and administrative burden (9%).
