In a letter to European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, President Rumen Radev states that the planned legislative amendments to the so-called Mobility 1 package run counter to the underlying fundaments of the European market and violate the principles of the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital within the community.
In President Radev’s words, the measures envisaged discriminate against the Bulgarian transport sector, Bulgaria will incur severe losses and will drop even further behind the other EU members economically.
