Sofia and Skopje relieve border control and improve joint business environment

The regime and general border control between Bulgaria and Macedonia will be simplified. That is what Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev and his Macedonian counterpart responsible for economic affairs Kocho Angushev agreed during the Bulgarian-Macedonian business forum in Skopje.

The two agreed to review and ease rules and administrative regimes that are a burden on investments and trade. Angushev pointed out that Macedonia had an interest in stepping up cooperation in the energy sector. Bulgaria's new trade representation in Skopje has also been opened.
