Bulgaria is interested in the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Serbia. This is what Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva said in an interview with BTV. She recalled that an invitation to Putin to visit Bulgaria remains valid, but no response from the Kremlin has been received yet.

"We are doing everything possible for the second pipe of TurkStream to pass through Bulgaria and I think there is a good chance for this to happen. Signals from Belgrade are also good," Zaharieva said. In the Serbian capital city, Russian energy minister Alexander Novak said the new Balkan pipeline will be in line with all EU requirements.
