Your success abroad is success for Bulgaria as well, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev said at a meeting in Lisbon with the Bulgarian community in Portugal. Teachers from the Bulgarian Sunday School St. St. Cyril and Methodius, doctors and cultural activists took part at the meeting with Bulgaria’s head of state. The legendary footballer of Sporting Lisbon and the Bulgarian national football team Ivaylo Yordanov was also among the guests. President Radev announced that Bulgaria is in a process of redefining its priorities and vision for contacts and assistance provided to the Bulgarian communities abroad. This assistance should be directed not only to the Bulgarian churches and cultural and educational societies, but also for qualification, social rights, pension topics, etc, Rumen Radev explained.
