Bulgaria to expand cooperation with Jordan

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva met in Brussels with Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman al-Safadi. Ministers Zaharieva and Safadi discussed measures aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Jordan. The Bulgaria-Jordan cooperation in countering terrorism is excellent, Ekaterina Zaharieva pointed out and voiced hopes that the bilateral cooperation between the law-enforcement authorities of the two countries will continue in the fight against transnational crime and human trafficking. Bulgaria and Jordan can cooperate successfully in other spheres such as information technologies, military industry and tourism, Minister Zaharieva said.
