President Rumen Radev: Dialogue between Sofia and Moscow contributes to restoration of trust between EU and Russia

At a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev pointed out that despite existing differences when it came to bilateral and international issues, there were deep historical, spiritual and cultural ties between the peoples of Bulgaria and Russia.

Bulgarian-Russian dialogue has been contributing to restoration of confidence between the EU and Russia. There is a true potential for deepening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, the Bulgarian Head of State also said. On Tuesday, the Russian Prime Minister will have talks with Parliament President Tsveta Karayancheva. A bilateral forum for cooperation in tourism is also going to take place in Sofia.
