Bulgaria’s Supreme Administrative Court repealed the decision of this country’s Minister of Environment and Water Neno Dimov not to carry out an environmental impact assessment of Pirin National Park. According to the Bulgarian magistrates, the environmental impact assessment must be carried out, because it would shape the framework of the future development of investments in Pirin. The lawsuit was initiated in relation with a complaint of several environmental organizations and individuals.
