Low terror alert code declared in Bulgaria before forthcoming religious holidays

The National Operational Headquarters for Management of Forces and Means to Counter Terrorism held a sitting in relation with the forthcoming religious holidays in Bulgaria, this country’s Bulgarian Ministry of Interior announced. Following an analysis of the situation in Bulgaria the participants decided to keep the current low level of terrorist threat. The competent authorities will maintain “yellow” terror alert code, which means that certain perimeters of the security environment will be monitored. Meanwhile, the authorities will have the readiness to resort to additional measures.
