President Rumen Radev and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discuss investment opportunities in Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev met with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani within the frameworks of his official visit to Doha. President Radev and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed common projects in high-tech sectors, ways to boost Qatar’s investments in Bulgarian industrial zones, as well as topics related to innovations, infrastructure, healthcare, energy cooperation and diversification of gas supplies. Later, Rumen Radev opened a Bulgaria-Qatar business forum. President Radev also visited Qatar Foundation which works in education, research and community development fields. It became clear that Qatar will finance the construction and the equipment of a center for education of children in the field of IT technologies in Bulgaria.
