President Rumen Radev congratulates Stevo Pendarovski for election victory

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has congratulated Stevo Pendarovski for his victory in the presidential elections in North Macedonia. The Bulgarian Head of State wished the country success and courage on its road to NATO and EU membership. President Radev called for a meeting with Pendarovski, pointing out that Bulgaria remains a consistent supporter of Skopje's European perspective. The Bulgarian President said he expected his counterpart’s work to contribute to the use of the spirit of the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborhood and Cooperation in forming the base of future relations between the two historically close nations.
