Defense Minister Krassimir Karakachanov bowed at the Bulgarian military cemetery near Tsapari village in North Macedonia. Together with diplomats and local Bulgarians, the minister brought flowers and commemorated the memory of soldiers from the 6th Bdin Division who died in Bitola during the First World War. According to the minister, Macedonia remains a crossroads of many interests and Bulgarian politics has been consistently calling for the country to be admitted to NATO and the EU in order to strengthen peace in the region. Bulgarian ambassador to Skopje, Angel Angelov, pointed out that all those who have worked for the preservation of the Bulgarian military cemetery in the village of Tsapari deserved great respect.
