The legend of Bulgarian football Krasimir Balakov is the new coach of the national team.
His contract starts on 1 June and ends on 31 October 2021 after the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
“This is a big challenge, there is nothing bigger than being coach of the national team. If that does not happen, because we are not wizards, there will be other qualifiers,” Balakov said.
