President Rumen Radev awards Union of Bulgarian Journalists Honorary Plaquette of St. St. Cyril and Methodius

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev awarded the Union of Bulgarian Journalists the Honorary Plaquette of St. St. Cyril and Methodius. During the celebrations of the 175th anniversary of the first Bulgarian Magazine Luboslovie and 125 years organized journalistic movement in Bulgaria President Radev said that no epoch is comfortable for the journalist. Rumen Radev voiced confidence that today there are people who know that journalism is primarily a mission and then a profession. The President of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists Snezhana Todorova called for dialogue with the legislature and said that the views and the standpoints of the journalists should be taken into consideration when legislative amendments related to the work of the Bulgarian media are proposed.
