Real-time data on air quality in Bulgaria available now

A new information system in Bulgaria will be providing air quality data in real time. It will be available on the website of the Executive Environment Agency. Currently, the leading atmospheric pollutant in the country is fine particulate matter, as increased concentration is mainly due to domestic heating, the agency reported. Sofia is not among the cities with the dirtiest air. Among the cities where the permissible pollution rate is exceeded are Smolyan, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Plovdiv.
