The negotiations with the USA for the purchase of F-16 fighter aircraft will continue until that intersection point that is acceptable for both countries is found, Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov said. Minister Karakachnov rejected the allegations that the demand for a price cut would be at the expense of the capabilities and the armament of the aircraft. We know and have declared our financial capabilities. When we chose the USA as a potential contractor the White House assured us that they will take our financial capabilities into consideration, but apparently we need more talks and negotiations, Minister Karakachanov said.
