European Elections campaign in Bulgaria did not cover thoroughly topics of the European agenda: report

Hate speech was present to varying degrees in the messages of all Bulgarian parties during the European Elections campaign, a report of the European Elections Monitoring Center, presented today and quoted by BTA shows. The report notes that this approach has not yielded results and that the voters remained indifferent to the campaign due to the absence of a conversation about the EU. Instead of debating the future of the European Union, the parties preferred to compete with their eyes on the forthcoming local elections later this year. The European Elections campaign did not cover thoroughly topics of the European agenda, including migration and nature conservation, the report further reads.
