After completion of work on the modernization of Unit 5 of the Kozloduy NPP for upgrading power performance up to 104 percent, carried out during the scheduled annual maintenance for this year, final testing is set for 13 and 14 July 2019.
The aim is to confirm readiness of the systems and equipment for performance in the conditions of upgraded power capacity in different modes of operation. A similar test programme was applied to Unit 6 of Kozloduy NPP in 2017. It now functions at full capacity - 1040 MWe.
