The scheduled testing of Unit 5 of Kozloduy NPP has been completed successfully, confirming the operability of the equipment in the conditions of upgraded power capacity in different modes of operation.
All activities throughout the different stages of the approved testing programme were completed according to schedule, and on 14 July, the unit was connected to the country’s energy grid. The test results will be summarized in a report which will be submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Agency.
