The tender procedure for the sale of land near the Black Sea town of Sozopol has been terminated by order of Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov. The decision was taken after an inspection ordered by Minister Karakachanov. The people who bought tender application papers and paid deposits to participate at the tender will receive their money back via bank transfers.  The inspection was made after a group of citizens signaled about the sale of attractive land near Gradina camping site on the Black Sea coast. The decision comes as a result of protests against the sale of several military properties along the Black Sea coast.  According to citizens, some of these properties are situated on private terrains which have to be restituted.
