Bulgaria's long-standing successful partnership with Meiji Corporation has been building confidence and is an example for Japanese investors looking to implement their projects in Bulgaria. This was what Bulgarian Head of State Rumen Radev said at a meeting with Kazuo Kawamura, President of Meiji Holdings, Katsunari Matsuda, Director at Meiji Holdings and with the leadership of the Japanese corporation. For 45 years, the company has been producing and selling Meiji Bulgarian Yogurt in Japan under license and with the support of Bulgaria.

The meeting in Tokyo was the first one during the visit of the Bulgarian President to Japan on the occasion of Emperor Naruhito's enthronement, the President’s press service has announced.
