Initiative committee to demand nullification of local elections in Bulgaria’s capital

The initiative committee which nominated Maya Manolova for mayor of Sofia announced that it would demand nullification of the local elections in Bulgaria’s capital. The Chairman of the committee Nikola Vaptsarov commented in an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio that their intention is driven by the belief that the vote was manipulated. In his words, many election protocols are full of mistakes. The initiative committee sent 25 signals of vote buying. Moreover, the sociological agencies breached the electoral law in the morning of the local elections through spreading discouraging, unrealistic and confusing statistics, Nikola Vaptsarov further said.
