The leader of the National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria Valeri Simeonov was appointed Deputy-President of the Bulgarian National Assembly. 118 MPs voted in favor, 6 MPs voted against and 6 MPs abstained. The parliamentary group of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms left the plenary hall and did not take part in the voting.
