Nuclear and fossil fuel experts from the US Department of State and US Department of Energy are already in Bulgaria. They are led by Ann Ganzer, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Non-Nuclear Proliferation.
At their recent meeting, U.S. President Donald Trump and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov agreed that the US would send a technical team, which together with Bulgarian experts are to explore opportunities for cooperation in various areas in the sphere of energy.
