Saudi Arabia is our important partner in multilateral diplomacy, in economy, in investment, in security, in the fight against terrorism and radicalization. Bulgaria is one of the Kingdom's best friends in the EU. In the first 10 months of 2019 alone, our bilateral trade has grown by 49% and Bulgarian exports to the country by 90%, Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva has told Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal Al Saud, who is on a visit to Sofia. Bulgarian companies are interested in participating in implementation of new engineering and construction projects in Saudi Arabia, Minister Zaharieva added. The diplomats agreed that all issues in the Middle East should be resolved peacefully at table of negotiations.
