The African swine fever has demolished 15% of the population of domestic pigs in Bulgaria since it emerged in 2018. A total of 203,000 pigs were killed and euthanized, this country’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva announced. One in ten wild boars shot in Bulgaria was infected with African swine fever.
