NSI presents GDP data about 2019

In the fourth quarter of 2019, Bulgaria’s gross domestic product amounted to EUR 16.7 billion, which is 3.1% more than the previous trimester, the National Statistical Institute announced. In real terms, the GDP increased with 3.4% last year. The relative share of the industrial sector in this country’s GDP saw 1.6% increase to 23.5%. The relative share of the service sector fell from 75.3% in 2018 to 73.7% last year. Investments form 20.8% of the GDP. The foreign balance of trade of goods and services is positive, data of NSI further show.
