Ursula von der Leyen: "Bulgaria provides moving examples of mobilization"

In an exclusive interview with the Bulgarian National Radio, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has said that the coronavirus pandemic is still at a critical juncture, despite recent good news. Von der Leyen cites as an example the volunteering activities of a Bulgarian start-up and the Burgas opera theatre which started to make masks and then donate them. 

We will never forget that Bulgaria has sent protective clothing to Austria. All these are signs that the situation is indeed difficult, but solidarity is still at the heart of the EU, Ursual von der Leyen said in the interview..
