PM Boyko Borissov and US Ambassador Herro Mustafa discuss Bulgaria-US strategic partnership

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and US Ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa discussed, at a meeting today, the efforts the two countries are making  to address the coronavirus epidemic and additional US Embassy-supported initiatives to assist Bulgaria during the state of emergency.

The United States and Bulgaria stand side-by-side as Secretary Pompeo recently underscored.  Our strategic partnership continues unabated.  We are stronger together,” US Ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa said.

The US ambassador and the prime minister of Bulgaria also continued discussions on the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and USA, to include enhancing joint  security and defense cooperation and fostering economic and energy cooperation.
