Fast loans excluded from moratorium on loan repayments

Fast loans have been excluded from the moratorium on loan repayments introduced because of Covid-19, the Association for Responsible Non-Bank Lending has warned. This high risk and expensive product, which is not offered by commercial banks, is excluded from the guidelines of the European Banking Authority, followed by the BNB and the commercial banks in Bulgaria. The Association expects an increased demand for fast loans stemming from the economic damage caused by the pandemic and the fact that a large number of people will be left without income for several months.
